| Hi Everyone. How are you all? The reason for this post is I wanted to know how your stargazing was going? so please let us know how your getting on and where abouts your doing your viewing. I'm in Plymouth England. When the skies are clear my viewing has been really good all but one night when the skies were clear but all I could see was an orange glow due to city lights. I'm going down to a Astronomy campsite soon so really looking forward to that. So far I have some good pictures of the Moon and Vega. Not so good ones of Saturn or Neptune hope that will change soon tho. Hope to hear from you all soon. Clear skies for all. | |

| Not that much going on here, apart from viewing with small instruments. I love naked-eye visuals when things are going OK. M-31 is pretty impressive on a clear night - that sucker is BIG! | |

| I'm in the UK. So far this summer, I've had the sum total of 4 observing sessions thanks to light nights and yet another lousy British summer. Late May to mid-August is the worst time for astronomy here, at least in my opinion. | |

Wow that's basics lol exactly, its quite bad actually, soo much basic stuff thats they dont know, i said to them that in atoms its 99.9% empty space, so why cant i put my hand through a table, they said 'because its a solid' i explained for about an hour lol, then i asked again, all i got was 'because it's a solid' lol, eventually i did tell her because of the strong nuclear force, they still think its because its a solid and what i told them is wrong...lol | |
