Im hoping to go to either Iceland or Norway next year (thinking Iceland), beautiful countries (except from above lol) to see a geomagnetic storm, the suns solar flares realising energetic particles that collide and dance across earths magnetic field making it visible to us usually at the pole regions in a variety of colours, at high
altitude oxygen red, then oxygen green and nitrogen blue/red,
then finally nitrogen blue/red when collisions prevent oxygen from
emitting anything. Green is the most common of all auroras. Behind it is
pink, a mixture of light green and red, followed by pure red, yellow (a
mixture of red and green), and lastly pure blue, has anyone witnessed something as beautiful as this with their own eyes? how did it make you feel? bounce Very Happy
